BioWelcome to my College Writing II journal. I am a sophomore nursing student at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Kent has a fantastic nursing program that is currently ranked first in the state, which is why I chose this college. I am living on campus right now in a very nice residence hall with my good friend who is also a nursing major. It’s nice to have a study partner close by considering that our nursing class material is difficult. I cannot believe that someday I will be making an impact by healing patients.
When I get a break from school, I spend my time with my boyfriend of two years or I am working retail at the mall in my hometown. I am a huge fan of the Cleveland Indians and like to attend as many games as I can during the summer. My boyfriend and I like to go to concerts at Blossom whenever a talented artist is playing. Most recently we saw John Mayer and Ben Folds who were both amazing. That concert was probably the best one I have been to in awhile. Whenever I am home I like to cook for my family. Since I have been away at school, I have come to appreciate a home cooked meal. I have learned to hate the microwave and T.V. dinners. This is just a slight insight into my everyday activities. Most of my journal entries will be regarding cardiac (heart) health care, which is my main interest of study. I will be updating as needed through out the fall semester. Enjoy!
